Get Your Car Parked by a Giant Robot

Automated Parking

Automated Parking

As we wait for a future where cars autonomously park themselves after they have transported us around, it is currently possible to get your car parked by a giant robot. Automated parking towers are able to store a vast number of cars very efficiently (saving time and space). These towers often function completely autonomously and are more popular in Europe and Japan than in North America. See the video below for a tour:

As the number of vehicles grow, these giant robots could help solve the increasing problem of parking space, especially in downtown areas. How would you feel about having your car parked by a robot? Leave your comments below.

Simple slant (tilt) alarm switch circuit

Posted: 06 Aug 2013 03:12 AM PDT

This is a simple alarm circuit. This work, when the switch S1 (sensor) tilted away from vertical. The alarm stops when the sensor back to the old form. S1 sensor is a mercury switch.Contact is a normal closed. When the switch is placed in a vertical.Transistor Q1 acts as a switch off, buzzer immediately. When the sensor back to [...]

Operation of the circuit. When pressed, switch S1. Circuits will work out a sound of birds. The R1, R2, C3 forward control transistor Q1 to work intermittently.     The capacitor C4 determines the latency time, for each voice singing. In addition, there C2 as the feedback signal. If the C2 is much value, will make the bass sound. However [...]
