RobotShop is glad to announce the launch of its new Public Library for FlowBotics Studio. The Public Library is a wiki that allows FlowBotics Developers to upload and share their projects with other developers.
Made a cool project for your robot? Great, upload it! Designed a new FlowStone component that will make building new projects easier? Awesome, upload that too!
The Public Library can be used to share completed projects or to simply share some project components that are made to be reused in other projects. For example, we have already made a project called MathLib which provides components to do some simple math tasks. Sure, the component for bounds checking can be easily made by combining an existing Min component with a Max component, but who wants to do that every time? Once you have downloaded MathLib, you can take the bounds component and add it to your FlowBotics toolbox.
And since the FlowBotics Projects are inherently open source, you can take any of the projects from the Public Library and modify it to fit your own application!
If you have built a great project that you would like to sell, we can add it to our Robot App Store. See Selling a Project for more information.
We are glad to be able to provide a environment where roboticists can share projects and build an online community allowing them to contribute back as much as they have been helped themselves.
