Medusa Project – Draft
A few months ago, Eric Pinkel contacted RobotShop/Lynxmotion and myself asking if we wanted to be a consultant for their big VTail Medusa project. Very interested and amazed by the work already done by Eric and his team, we immediately stepped in to help whenever they needed it. As a UAV/Drones enthusiast, i really like to see new projects like this one coming to life. Doing things right and looking at problems and possibilities before doing anything wrong is what this team is about. Their mantra “Creativity/CAD/Community”.
For their project they were inspired by the Linkall team who built the version below. More about this build HERE
Linkall Team Prototype
They have since done a lot of calculations and design and now are working on their first PVC tube prototype.
We will not copy all the information on their blog here because there is a ton of information and they keep adding interesting stuff and test results. This is a project to keep an eye on and maybe even be part of.
Can’t wait to see this monster flying …!
